Iron Yard: Week 2, Day 1 (or 6? or 8?)

Who knows what day it is anymore. I’m going with day 8? Today has knocked me on my tukhus.

Responsive Web Design – Making sure your site works on web browsers, tablets and mobile devices. I knew this wouldn’t be a piece of cake. However, I also didn’t believe it would be the hardest day thus far. To think, I thought my @keyframe animation last Thursday was difficult at the time!

After completing what I thought was more than the minimum requirement for the assignment, I realized I had misunderstood the minimum requirement for the day. I scrambled to get it completed (to the best of my ability, my mobile viewer wasn’t showing the correct CSS) and hopefully have accomplished the minimum now. However, I can say with confidence, that I am not confident in my final product.

This has been repeated many times in the past week by my Iron Yard cohort: “My code works, I have no idea why. My code doesn’t work, I have no idea why.” I have a feeling this will be the theme of our next 11 weeks…

Off to dream about GitHub

Tomorrow will be another day and I will survive!
